The Philadelphia Fight Rugby League club would like to recognize Hancock Building Associates and its owner Keith McLean for their tremendous support this year. Hancock was our very first sponsor and the reason we are here today.
Keith McLean is a long time rugby player and supporter. Famous for his forearm shimmy, Keith started playing rugby at West Virginia University. He presently plays for Philadelphia-Whitemarsh and has been associated with the club since 1987. Keith has won numerous accolades in rugby including captaining the 1999 national champion Philly-Whitemarsh 7s team as well as winning the National MVP award for that tournament. Keith has also played 18 times for the prestigious Team America, a selected group of over 33 years of age national players.
Keith's commitment to rugby has led him to give back to the rugby community. When the Fight administrators approached Keith for support, Keith didn't hesitate. He also serves as an executive board member for the club and his experience and business acumen has been a tremendous asset to the club.

R. Keith McLean incorporated Hancock Building Associates, Inc. in February of 1990.
Keith's experiences working for local contractors as a laborer through the ranks of foreman during his high school and college days paved the way to his eventually start of his own business in the building trade.
Upon graduating from West Virginia University, Keith spent 2 years with CertainTeed Corporation as a district manager responsible for the manufacturing of exterior home building products. Upon leaving CertainTeed, McLean spent 2 additional years in Boston working for a home builder-re modeler.
Keith decided to return to his hometown roots in 1989 and after a brief stint with a window fabrication business, leaped into his own business. McLean's philosophy of using quality products and professional workmanship while providing competitive pricing has enabled HBA to be a successful and reputable home improvement company along the main line and surrounding communities ever since.
