Who We Are

Philadelphia Fight Rugby League Club is a member of the American National Rugby League (AMNRL), which is the governing body for Rugby League development in the USA and a member of the Rugby League International Federation. The AMNRL competition contains teams from Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Virginia, Washington DC, and Florida. The AMNRL is a dynamic sporting organization which has been operating for the past 13 years. It is made up of young, enthusiastic, professionals who have collectively agreed on a vision which will see the game of Rugby League exposed to many Americans through playing venues currently in eight states. With exposure to local, national, and international media, we hope to expand and position ourselves alongside other countries in the Rugby League sporting world. Using the opportunity to capitalize on the experience of local and expatriate personnel, along with close ties to overseas National Rugby League sporting bodies, the AMNRL intends to build its strength from the success Rugby League is enjoying in Australia, Great Britain, France, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and 17 other nations.

The Philadelphia Fight, a foundation team of the AMNRL, is a loyal and successful club maintaining a strong competitive position since their inception. They have a contact player list of 55 personnel across a broad range of industry sectors. The team plays 8 games during the summer months in Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts prior to the play- offs. Three more games will be played for the Championship Match held at the Conshohocken A Field in Philadelphia PA on August 28th, 2010.
